“Sacrifice by Faith”
Hebrews 11:23-29

Our true identity and citizenship is in Christ and His kingdom.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true worship. Romans 12:1

When you read “therefore” you must ask “wherefor”?

Offer our lives as a sacrifice in VIEW of God’s mercy.

“Lord, how would you have me live as a sacrifice today?”

Moses could count disgrace for the sake of Christ as greater value than the treasure of Egypt (praise and possession) because he was looking ahead to his reward. Hebrews 11:26

Faith does not come from obligation, guilt, or even duty, but from “awe”. We must ever be looking towards Christ and his mercy.

Scripture Quoted: Romans 12:1. Hebrews 11:23-29.
Scripture referenced: Romans 1-11. James 1:15 Exodus 1-15.
Suggested reading for this week: Romans Chapter 1-11.
