We are a Children’s Ministry uniquely designed for your child! Children, birth through fifth grade, experience safe, age appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Most importantly we want the children to leave church every week with the assurance that God loves them and is always there for them!
Our children’s programs meet during all worship services.
Who attends Kidsbridge?
We provide intentional care with age appropriate and child targeted programs for all children, birth to 5th grade in our 6 different Kidsbridge rooms:
Nursery: – 0-23 months
Toddlers – 2s and 3s
PreK – 4s and 5s
K & 1st
2nd & 3rd
Alive 45 – 4th and 5th graders
Look for the area designated for first time families. There are two Kidsbridge Welcome Centers – One for nursery and toddlers and another one in the Kidsbridge wing for children 4 and up. If you are just visiting or checking us out please fill out a Visitor’s form. If you plan on staying we will have you fill out a registration form and check you and your child(ren) into our database system. Once your family is checked in, one of our volunteers will be happy to show you the age appropriate room we have created for your child.
We will ask for the following personal information: family member’s names, children’s names and birthdates, family address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. During checkout, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
If for some reason your child needs you during the service, we will first try to reach you via text message. As you check in, the Welcome Center will ask about your current phone number. If you miss our text, don’t worry, the next step is to show the identification code on the screens in the auditorium. We would ask you that you exit the auditorium immediately towards the back and go back to the area where you dropped off your child.
What Should I Expect When I Return to Kidsbridge?
As you enter Kidsbridge, your first stop should be at the Kidsbridge Welcome Center where a friendly volunteer will check your child in for the service you are attending. You will be asked for your last name or phone number to locate your family in our database system.
You will receive a set of stickers with a family identification number for you and for your child. Your child will wear the sticker with his or her name. Please hold on to your portion of the sticker until checkout at the end of the service. You will need it to check your child out of Kidsbridge.
If for some reason you were to lose your identification sticker, please go directly to our Welcome Center.
What is available for nursing moms?
We have a nursing moms room that is connected to the main service via one way mirror and speakers. We know as moms of young children you often spend more time in the kids class rooms, which you are always welcome to do. But if you want to be with your nursing or crying child and still be connected to the service, please take advantage of this room! Nursing moms are also always welcome in our nursery and toddler room. We have glider chairs and there is a changing room for the babies’ needs in those rooms.
What is available for my child with special needs?
Through our Treasure Ministry we are able to engage children with special needs. Trained volunteers lovingly serve these children often on a 1 on 1 basis and do whatever it takes to help them draw near to Jesus. Please contact Claudia Hanna or Rose Mendenhall if you have questions or concerns.
Every child matters to us!
