#4 Our Response:
Life Grp Q’ The Fear of Man 10/20/19 Galatians 1:10 CSB
•Looking back who was someone you REALLY wanted to like you? What did you do to help that happen?
•In the message this week, was there anything that particularly caught your attention, challenged or confused you?
•Read John 12:42-43. Think of a time when you let fear of man overcome your faith in God. Looking back, how would you approach the situation differently today?
If these fears continue, how would they shape your life? See Proverbs 29:25.
Application (dealing with ‘fear of man’)
•How do you get to a place where you say, “I must obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29
-Confess your fear of man. Who is it you fear what they think about you?
eg. parent, boss, child, coach, teacher, friend, spouse, desired friend, a date you’re trying to impress, a workmate, the online crowd, etc.
-What do you think the Holy Spirit is telling you to move forward even though you are afraid?
-What support can we as a group give you in moving forward? (if you’re unsure, ask for help.)
